We are walking for #Justice4Savannah
On December 4, 2015, Savannah Kai Wright left this earth all too soon at 9 months old, due to child abuse while at daycare. Savannah's parents, Julius and Qiana organized this walk in honor of Savannah's life and to bring awareness to child abuse and neglect. The walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Allen Pond, located at 3330 Northview Drive, Bowie MD 20716. All proceeds from the walk will go toward programs to support victims of child abuse, as well as Savannah's Smile, LLC, a support group for mothers who have lost their babies or infants to SID's, miscarriage, illness, or child abuse.
April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month, and statistics show in that nearly 700,000 children are abused in the U.S. annually. Unfortunately, many like Savannah do not survive their abuse. It is with your support that we will bring awareness to child abuse and neglect, while being able to help other grieving families. So please support us as we walk the steps Savannah was never able to take.
