2018 NAAC Open Water Fall Splash

- Participants & families: You
cannot touch the timing equipment and should stay clear of
the finish area and not interfere with the timing equipment.
Any person or entity who damages the timing equipment will be held
personally liable for that damage.
- Swimmers will receive an electronic
chip to wear under their race cap. This will record their
finish time.
- Wildlife: during Open Water
events, there is always a chance of coming across wildlife, such as
jellyfish, snakes, fish, birds, etc. There have been jellyfish
sightings over the last week-fyi.
- Please remind your swimmers to rinse
off after they swim.
- Swimmers should not swim if they
have an open cut.
- Weather: if the weather is not
cooperating - we will make decisions the day of & get the word
out to you asap. Please be checking your email for an update
if it looks iffy.
We will have long sleeved t-shirts for sale- $20 each (see proof
below). Cash or checks accepted (made payable to NAAC).
- A small assortment of concessions
will be offered as well.
- Great day - great fun - great way to
kick off the season!
You must READ the entire meet notice and SIGN the waiver! Download
the waiver, sign it, and return it to Coach Chris Swensen in
practice or email it to him at cswensen11@gmail.com
All USA/MD Swimming rules/safety
guidelines will be observed during this event. There will be
a mandatory suit, fingernail, and toe nail check.
Swimmers will need to check in with a
photo ID or bring a parent/guardian with a photo
ID.

Phone No. for the Day of the Event.
